Dr. Paul Cady is Associate Dean and Associate Professor at Idaho State University College of Pharmacy. He earned his B.S. in pharmacy in 1980 from the University of Arizona. After serving with the Indian Health Service in 1984 he returned to the University of Arizona and earned his M.S and Ph.D in pharmacy administration. Dr Cady was on faculty at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy for two years prior his appointment to the Idaho State University College of Pharmacy faculty.

While at Idaho State University, Dr. Cady has served as the Director of the Pharmacy Administration Graduate Program and as Vice Chair in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences. He was a recipient of the Lyman Award in 1998. Along with others at the College of Pharmacy, he has been involved with the Idaho Medicaid Drug Utilization Review project; specifically with data management and research. In addition to his teaching responsibilities in the professional and graduate program, Dr. Cady has continued to serve with the Indian Health Service during summer. His research interests include population based drug utilization review and pharmacoeconomics.
