Our Mission  Our Vision  Our Values

You will not find greater dedication to education and research in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences elsewhere.  ISU’s College of Pharmacy takes pride in being one of the nation’s premiere pharmacy academic institutions.  Our driving forces are best summarized in these three documents: 'Our Mission', 'Our Vision', and 'Our Values'.

Our Faculty

The College of Pharmacy consists of two departments: Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences.  The Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences provides basic science instruction in the profession pharmacy curriculum, graduate training in the pharmaceutical sciences, and offers an undergraduate minor in pharmaceutical sciences.  The department is also devoted to basic research in the biomedical sciences.  The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Sciences provides instruction on therapeutics and clinical sciences to the professional pharmacy students and other health science students at ISU.  In addition, the department is devoted to clinical research and scholarship.  If you would like to know more about an individual faculty member, please see our biographical profiles.

South-East Idaho Area

The majority of time spent in the Doctor of Pharmacy program is at our Pocatello campus in south-east Idaho. We have clerkships in several locations, and a portion of the coursework can be completed from Boise, Idaho. We also offer a nontradtional Doctor of Pharmacy for those that wish to study abroad.

Maps / Driving Instructions

Campus Map (Pharmacy is Building 8)

Driving Instructions:

From the South (Salt Lake City) or North (Idaho Falls)
Take I-15 towards Pocatello and leave the freeway on exit number 69(Center Street).

From the West (Twin Falls, Boise)
Take I-84 towards Pocatello and continue on I-86 at the juncture of the two freeways. After arriving in Pocatello, exit I-86 and take I-15 South (Salt Lake), leave the freeway on exit 69(Center Street).

After exiting the freeway, head west (downhill) on Clark street -- if you are arriving from the south, you will temporarily be on Center street until it splits into Clark.

Turn left at the stop light on 15th Ave, and follow it until you reach Martin Luther King Jr. Way, where you should turn right. This street ends at 8th Ave, where you need to turn left.

The road will bend around and you will see the main parking lot for lower campus. Visitor parking is available against the campus side of the lot, and we would be happy to provide temporary parking permits.

You can also park at Holt Arena during school hours (7:30am - 5:30pm) and catch the free bus to lower campus.

You can create your own map at Mapquest, if you like.
