Admissions to the Doctor of Pharmacy Program is competitive. A minimum of a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all higher education course work is required to apply. The online application is at https://pharmacy.isu.edu/application The Pharmacy Admissions Committee is charged with selecting candidates who best demonstrate the academic achievement, emotional maturity, integrity, and motivation necessary for success in the College of Pharmacy. Prepharmacy requirements must be completed by the end of the spring term of the year the applicant is applying.

Application Deadline

All application materials ($55 application fee, three recommendations and official transcripts) must be received by February 1st of the year that you plan to attend.
Pharmacy Experience
Applicants are strongly encouraged to obtain actual pharmacy experience prior to applying for admissions to the Doctor of Pharmacy program.  Pharmacy experience can be gained through shadowing, volunteering or working in a paid position within a pharmacy.

* Also fulfills General Education Requirement Students are required to have completed a minimum of 72 college/university semester credits before actually beginning the Pharm.D. program at ISU.
