Idaho State University is a public institution with the main campus located in Pocatello, Idaho. It is the leading health education University in the State of Idaho. The Doctor of Pharmacy degree can be completed in either Pocatello or Meridian, Idaho or in Anchorage, Alaska. Students may complete their fourth year at our clinical sites in Idaho (Boise, Pocatello, or Coeur d’Alene) or at our sites in Reno, Nevada or Anchorage, Alaska. Entry into the program is competitive. We accept only 90 new students each year from a large pool of qualified applicants.

Upon acceptance into the Doctor of Pharmacy program, students are required to complete criminal background checks. An applicant will be disqualified from admission if the applicant has a criminal record of conviction, plea agreement, withheld judgment, and/or pending charges considered serious in nature (felony or misdemeanor).
