1. Set up an Internet connection, the easiest way to set up an
Internet connection is to open the Internet explorer and click on
the tools tab, then on the connections tab. If you don't use explorer,
you can access this window be clicking start, settings, control
panel, then click the Internet settings icon. That will bring you
to this window, click on the Connections tab, and then add.

2. Once you have an Internet connection set up, highlight it in
the Internet properties window and click settings, then the properties
button next to the username field. Now click on the "Server
Types" tab, and the "TCP/IP Settings" button on that
page

3. Leave the button checked that says server assigned IP address,
but click on the Specify name server addresses button. You'll need
to enter the DNS and WINS address manually to access the network.
For the Primary DNS field enter 134.50.254.5
For the Primary WINS field enter 134.50.8.59

4. Click OK until you're back at your desktop (your computer will
probably want to restart, go ahead and let it). After it reboots,
Right click on your Network Neighborhood Icon on the desktop (you
can also click on the network icon in the control panel.) Click
the identification tab and ensure your workgroup is set to PHARMACY.
Click OK (you may have to restart again).

5. Dial into ISU and you should now be able to access the PHARMACY
workgroup and OTC from the My Network Places icon (you will have
to browse to find it). Keep in mind that you will NOT have an F
drive doing this, you have to double click on OTC and find the homes
drive. The homes drive is your F drive, but when you access it from
home this way it works just a little different. The process of browsing
your files will be noticeably slower than when you access files
from ISU, so be aware of that.
If you have done this and still can't connect please call Matt
Cummins at 208.282.2627. If it is after hours leave a message and
Matt will follow up with you as soon as possible. Also you may stop
by his office in LH107. One note, we don't use windows 98 at the
college so anything we tell you will most likely be from memory,
we can get you there but you'll have to be patient with us, it's
hard to remember every menu when you don't use a system anymore.
