From H Holland Jr Joseph died of a blood clot following an appendectomy at the age of 48. Buried in S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Snow very heavy on the ground. Owned the Atres place in Macedonia ( Asylum Twp ) H as infected with salt rheum from the soil so sold the farm and moved to Towanda where he operated a grocery store with Gorge McCabe. The farm was Joel's place. 1910 census ( fhl film 1375332 ) Pa, Bradford Co, Towanda Boro 212 Bridge Street ( Corner of 3 rd and Bridge Shows his age 37 Married 14 years Groc Merchant Wife Mary age 37 Married 14 yr 5 children 3 living Mary 11, son George 5 son Jospeh 3 1900 census shows Joseph and Mary and daughter Mary. Bradford Star 28 Dec died 22 Dec in Sayre hospital of appendicitis age 46. Quit farm in 1907
