Dr. Cashmore is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Idaho State University College of Pharmacy. She earned her BS degree in biology from the University of California at San Diego and her M.S. degree in biochemistry from West Virginia University. After working for several years in the biotechnology field developing immunodiagnostic kits and producing monoclonal antibodies, Dr. Cashmore graduated with high honors from Idaho State University with her PharmD degree. She then completed a residency in long term care pharmacy at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello, Idaho. Dr. Cashmore is licensed to practice pharmacy in Idaho and California and has been on the faculty at her alma mater since 1994. Dr. Cashmore's primary instructional interests are in nuclear medicine and critical evaluation of the medical literature. She has been honored as Teacher of the Year for the College of Pharmacy six times. Dr. Cashmore has received certifications in physical assessment, pharmacy-based immunization, and as an Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist. She opened the first nuclear pharmacy in Southeast Idaho in February of 2006 and now precepts APPE and IPPE students at Advanced Isotopes of Idaho in Chubbuck.  Dr. Cashmore is an editor for The Annals of Pharmacotherapy, and enjoys helping students who want to publish in the medical literature.
